Welcome Peabody Award Nominees!

Before Lawrence Peabody disappeared on an expedition up the Amazon River, he established an annual award for archaeological research.  As nominees for this prestigious award, you will research a civilization of your choice and submit a report on your findings to the Lawrence Peabody Award Foundation.

You will present your paper to the other nominees, a panel of distinguished judges, and a guest of your choosing at the Annual Peabody Foundation Award Celebration.  Be aware that all papers must be submitted by the deadline.  Consult your Foundation Advisor for details (your teacher).

 Enjoy the thrill of discovery as you unearth ancient artifacts from all over the world. Remember to keep your notebook accurate and current, and you can become a published archaeologist with a world-wide audience!
